Choose any caterer you like, leave the food to Sisterfields Café, or bring your own food and drinks. Selling them requires the operator's written agreement; any permits are the organiser's responsibility.
Timings
No imposed end time for a company evening; for a private celebration, we agree the end time with you. Noise and neighbourhood rules still apply, and we go through them with you when you book.
Access and deliveries
LeLocal Brotherfields is a former garage. Two opening glazed bays of 3.21 × 3.63 m give straight onto the street at ground level, so deliveries, setup and vehicles come in with no ramp. The entrance and the main part of the room are step-free, with 4.90 m of clear height; a raised platform one metre up is reached by an internal staircase. The toilets are not wheelchair accessible. Setup the evening before and collection the next day are free of charge, subject to availability.
Sound
Sound system and microphones on site, for a speech as much as a playlist. A DJ usually brings their own kit.
Power
16 amps, with sockets throughout the room. Planning cooking or stage lighting? Tell us in advance and we will plan the load with you.

No private parking. Paid street parking on Avenue de Sévelin and Rue de Sébeillon, 1-4 minutes' walk away and limited to 3 hours; the Montbenon and Beaulieu covered car parks are 15-20 minutes away. m1 metro (Montelly) 7 minutes, bus 17 4-5 minutes.

What is included in the hire?
Every booking includes all 251 m² to yourself, the furniture already in place (tables, Chesterfield lounge, high tables), the venue's lighting, a sound system with microphones, a projector ready to use on the white wall, high-speed WiFi, heating, toilets, 16 A power and final cleaning. On request and at extra cost: serving staff, stage lighting, extra furniture and extra hours.
Is the venue booked exclusively?
Yes, always. Every booking gives you all 251 m² to yourself, whether for a company apéritif, a year-end evening, a product launch or a birthday. Noise rules and capacity limits apply to every event.
How many guests does the venue hold?
Up to 150 standing for a reception, 80 for a seated meal and 100 in a theatre layout. For a U-shape layout, tell us your numbers and we will confirm what is possible.
Access and technical
Where can guests park?
The venue has no private parking. Paid street parking is right next door on Avenue de Sévelin and Rue de Sébeillon (1 to 4 minutes' walk), limited to 3 hours. The nearest covered car parks, Montbenon and Beaulieu, are a 15-20 minute walk. By public transport: the m1 metro to Montelly (7 minutes' walk), bus 17 to École des Métiers / EPSIC (4-5 minutes), or 15 minutes from Lausanne station by m2 then m1. Delivery vehicles drive straight into the room through the step-free 3.21 × 3.63 m bays.
Is there WiFi?
Yes, high-speed WiFi covers the whole room and is included in the hire. You receive the login details on arrival.
How late can an event run?
For a company evening, there is no imposed end time. For a private celebration, the end time is agreed when you book. Noise and neighbourhood rules apply in both cases.
Is there a sound system on site?
Yes, a sound system and microphones are in place and included, for a speech as much as a playlist. A DJ usually brings their own kit.
How much power is available?
16 amps, with sockets throughout the room. If you are planning cooking or stage lighting, tell us in advance and we will plan the load with you.
Can a vehicle be brought inside?
Yes. LeLocal Brotherfields is a former garage: its street front has two opening glazed bays of 3.21 × 3.63 m, step-free at street level. Motorcycles and cars have been displayed here for brand launches. Send us your vehicle's dimensions and we will confirm it fits.
Catering and house rules
Can we decorate and arrange the room?
Yes: decoration, temporary installations, displays. Everything must be reversible, and the room must be returned to its original state at the end of your hire.
Can we choose our own caterer?
Yes, you are free to choose your own caterer. If you would rather not look for one, Sisterfields Café can take care of it. You can also bring your own drinks and food for your guests; selling them requires the operator's written agreement, and any permits (municipality, trade licensing office) are the organiser's responsibility. The room has hosted standing dinners, brunches and barbecues.

A weekday company apéritif of about 3 hours starts at CHF 800, an evening of about 6 hours at CHF 1'500, a full day from 8am to 8pm at CHF 1'300 and a weekend package of 10 hours or more at CHF 2'500.
