The room is 251 m² in one piece. For an apéritif it takes up to 150 guests standing. The high tables go wherever you want them, the Chesterfield lounge gives people somewhere to sit and the long wooden table works as a buffet. For a smaller group, the lounge and the pendant lamps keep the room feeling warm.
Timings: about three hours, on a weekday
The apéritif format covers about three hours on a weekday, usually at the end of the working day, for example 5pm to 8pm. Your caterer can arrive a little earlier to set up. If conversations run on, extra hours are available on request. Planning something longer from the start? The company evening format of about six hours is made for it.
What the apéritif price includes
From CHF 800 excluding VAT, you get all 251 m² to yourself, the furniture in place (tables, lounge, high tables), the venue's lighting, a sound system with microphones, the projector, high-speed WiFi, heating, toilets and 16 A power. Final cleaning is included. Serving staff, stage lighting or extra furniture can be added on request.
Catering and drinks for your company apéritif
Choose your own caterer, or use Sisterfields Café. Standing dinners, brunches and barbecues have all been served here by different providers. You can also bring your own drinks and food for your guests. Selling them, however, requires the operator's written agreement, and any permits (municipality, trade licensing office) are the organiser's responsibility. The electrical supply is 16 A: if your caterer plans to cook on site, tell us what equipment they are bringing and we will plan the load with them.
Getting to LeLocal Brotherfields, Avenue de Sévelin 50
The room opens at street level onto Avenue de Sévelin, a 7-minute walk from the Montelly stop on the m1 metro and 4-5 minutes from bus 17 (École des Métiers / EPSIC). From Lausanne station, allow 15 minutes by m2 then m1, or 20 minutes on foot. There is no private parking: paid street parking, limited to 3 hours, is right next door on Avenue de Sévelin and Rue de Sébeillon, and the Montbenon and Beaulieu covered car parks are a 15-20 minute walk.
