A birthday venue with character

No white walls or strip lights of a function room: here you get Chesterfield sofas, giant red letters, a dartboard and a yellow Fiat 500 in the décor. Add your balloons, garlands or flowers, and the room becomes yours for the night.

Hiring a birthday venue in Lausanne

Whether there are 40 of you or 150, the 251 m² room adapts: the Chesterfield lounge for talking, the long table for the buffet and enough space to move around. The venue is yours alone for ten hours or more on a Saturday or Sunday, with the sound system for your playlist and microphones for the speeches.

Wedding reception: seated dinner, then a dance floor

80 guests sit down for dinner. Afterwards the tables move aside and the room becomes a dance floor. A package of ten hours or more leaves time to decorate in the afternoon and to carry on late into the evening.

Decoration, catering and music

Decorate as you wish, as long as everything is reversible. For the food, choose your own caterer, use Sisterfields Café or bring your own dishes and drinks. Only selling them requires the operator's written agreement; any permits are then the organiser's responsibility. The sound system is included; a DJ usually brings their own kit.

Getting to your event in Sévelin, Lausanne

LeLocal Brotherfields is at Avenue de Sévelin 50, a 7-minute walk from the m1 metro (Montelly) and 4-5 minutes from bus 17. There is no private parking: paid street parking is right next door, limited to 3 hours, and the Montbenon and Beaulieu covered car parks are a 15-20 minute walk. The entrance and the main room are step-free from the street, which suits grandparents and pushchairs alike; only a raised platform one metre up is reached by a staircase. The toilets, however, are not wheelchair accessible.
